Tammy and David (or Westie to his friends) may have waited a few more years than originally planned, but boy oh boy did they make up for it with the sheer awesomeness of their wedding!

I always knew I was going to love Doug and Sarah’s day. From the minute their faces flashed onto my Zoom screen I was hooked! Down-to-earth, mad about their beautiful dog Ellie, happy hearted hustlers with big smiles and bigger love.

But what I didn’t see coming, is becoming a fan of the saxophone!

Chloe and Adam are one hell of a team. When chaotic travel policies threw a spanner in the works of their Tuscan wedding, they went back to the drawing board and put together this beautiful Devon celebration in just 8 weeks. No mean feat. But that’s what marriage boils down to - not every day is plain sailing, but if you can find someone who makes navigating those stormy waters easier then the ride can still be a (seriously!) beautiful one.

These two cried, laughed and partied like it was nobody’s business - and I salute them!

ina and Mark - your day had it all. utter Devon wonderfulness from start to finish. Little Lily was the cutest, Otis the sausage dog in his bow tie came a close second, Gina you ROCKED my world in that dress girl (and Mark’s too by the look of his face when you headed down the aisle!)

Becci and Tim - first dance song - 11/10. These two are just absolute best buds, and it was such a pleasure watching them just ENJOY their day together. Smiling, laughing, hand in hand - best friends and now husband and wife. Here are some of my faves!

All I want to do it clap my hands when I think Ruth and Anthony’s amazing Devon day. Why?

1. The people! These are my kind of people! Ruth and Anthony are not just absolutely the coolest humans ever - but their friends and family are fun, welcoming, and full of life!

2. The setting! A beautiful barn under a moody sky - a rather rainy start that culminated with sun streaming out just as the beautiful Ruth took her first step down the aisle - pure magic. Then, a rainbow to end all rainbows overhead for the majority of the afternoon.

3. The food - The Greek Outdoors - you made a lot of people very very happy!

4. The aesthetic (that’s fancy talk for ‘the look’) - I can’t EVEN with these bridesmaids dresses, the pampas grass, the twinkly lights, Ruth’s classic gown and loose waves.

5. The vibe - up high - ALL day!! You guys know how to party - these guys waited long enough for their big day - and y’all partied accordingly. I salute you.

Heavens this day was hot hot hot! And I don’t just mean the knockout dress Laura treated us all too - seriously though - that number was Summer wedding perfection! Laura and Earl were another one of my couples who had to use Matrix-level Neo and Trinity skills to plan a wedding that kept on shifting due to the dreaded c-word. But when it arrived, it was a knock-your-socks-off ‘splosion of style and sentiment.

How many dates did we go through guys! I. Lost. Count! And then just like that - there we were - in the middle of a heatwave, on Freedom Day itself (complete with BBC Spotlight cameras!) I get really happy when good things happen to good people, so my smile was a mile wide behind my mask on Harry and Ella’s big day! I first met this wonderful pair at Ella’s sister’s wedding in 2018 - and just fell in love with the whole family - so seeing you all again made this off-the-charts fantastic day even more special!

A Devon country house wedding with all the trimmings - aka heaven! I loved being the wedding photographer for these two genuinely kind and humble humans. From the relaxed preparations in the morning, to the church filled with the people you love the most (and your cousin’s amazing voice!) to the sun-soaked reception where everyone had the best afternoon being spoilt by the Paschoe chefs and glorious Devon views. The best bit by far - watching a pair of the most gorgeous Jimmy Choos I have seen yet - go on a nature ramble to the Walled Garden - those babies didn’t miss a step - way to go Anna!!

Naomi and Josh had a small and intimate wedding in a tiny church overlooking the waters of Dartmouth, then spent the afternoon chilling with their closest friends and family at Venus Cafe in Blackpool Sands. Two such laid back and down-to-earth humans (seriously, so so relaxed!), their wonderful daughters, sea air, an afternoon of blue skies = chilled, happily-ever-after, seaside vibes.
