I remember thinking that he knew he could leave her after that, because she was safe in Geoff’s love.

“After the wedding, Skye will no longer be a b*stard dog!” Just one of the many Shaz quotes I will never forget. Being in a room with her is like being close to the sun, when her smile is on full beam nothing else matters. She makes every person with her feel so special, and I am so so delighted she has found a man like Tom to hold her heart for the rest of her life. He is calm, funny, fun, steady and down to earth. These two together are pure magic. Their beautiful wedding at Upton Barn and Walled Garden was an explosion of wildflowers, and a celebration of not just their love for each other but of all the people they hold dear.

I consider myself truly fortunate to have been a part of their day.

Lauren and Geoff know how to throw a wedding!! Gin flowed, Deer Park glowed, and even though the skies opened mid ceremony it didn’t break anybody’s stride. In fact, watching Geoff hold his brolly over Lauren, keeping chilled and keeping her dry and smiling when things weren’t going according to plan made the whole ceremony even more poignant. It’s easy to be all smiles and loved up when it’s all sunshine and rainbows, but these two have found in each other a partner to walk through all weather with - and that is really what this whole marriage thing is about.

Holly and I first started chatting years ago, while she was off on a year-long scuba diving adventure in Mozambique with Sam (these two are cool af) - and I was immediately smitten. From the word go their day has been planned to be heartfelt, their love so so palpable, and their energy infectious. I was so excited when the day came I was finally going to meet them properly!

Scorcher doesn’t even begin to sum up the day, the walled garden at beautiful Upton Barn was drenched in sunshine, smiles and shenanigans (SO many shenanigans). And just when it can’t get any better, their beautiful babe Emily busts out a smile and a giggle and the earth literally stops on it’s axis!

Guys, thank you for being so so incredible, thank you for the FUN, the belly laughs and for letting us ride shotgun with you and your amazing crew! You all absolutely rule!!

Katie and Josh’s day had the MOST appropriate soundtrack - and it was beyond special to see their families come together after so long apart to celebrate these two. Josh is Australian so it had been a while since those down under could see their international loved ones, and this combination of reunion and wedding meant that the day shone even brighter! Grandad threw the best shapes EVER, Katie donned a SPECTACULAR sequinned frock for the evening, and the rain gave this amazing crowd plenty of gaps to get out and enjoy Upton’s beautiful grounds!

Vicki and Marc - what a beautiful life you have made for yourselves. These two met while travelling in New Zealand, and talk about love at first sight. That was that! They went their separate backpack-toting ways but the minute they were back on the same continent they set about the business of being together forever. Destiny. They now have the gorgeous Olive and Ada - and the awesome 4-legged dude Archie completes the team!

Lauren specialises in neonatal care, and Tom is an anaesthetist. Which is good, because the sheer volume of big feels on this amazing day had me cryin’ like a baby, and then the golden hour was so lit I felt I would never be able to sleep again - I mean - pure golden light just streamed over us for at least 20 full minutes, it was incredible! I love it when good things happen to good people, and these two are amongst the best.

Man oh man I can FEEL these photos, I can hear them! This wedding blew the roof off Huntsham Court, Sinead had us in stitches from the minute we arrived, impromptu dance parties in the bathroom, conga lines into the dressing room, bottles popping left and right - and that was just bride prep. Next up a ceremony more heartfelt than any Nick Sparks film (Sinead and Alex are the OG meant to be, lobsters, BIG LOVE, best friendship on fire - and it’s obvious after just a few minutes in their company) then - a reception with a OPERA singer that triggered a spontaneous dance sesh now known as #notthefirstdance, hilarious and eye-leak-causing speeches, and then the dance floor, THE DANCE FLOOR. The best kind of MAYHEM.
